Currently, we can only perform TM Merge action, page by page in each documents within a single book. This is extremely tedious work for project managers.
I would like to request an enhancement of this feature to allow populating fuzzy translations into the editor for the entire book (all files in a single version of a single project).
Everything is copied as fuzzy
New backend async service GWT->REST
keep pop-up on-screen when merge is running
show a progress indicator
possiblity to cancel
limit queue on per document per language level
show notification on different editor workspace if tm-merge is running
A single book usually consists of multiple files.
I would like to make it clear that a document does not refer to a file in Zanata.
If so, I must rephrase it as a single version of a single project in a single language.
Is this clear enough?
It does. I will change the title to make it clear that this request is for versions.
Thank you Carlos.
Yes, it is a whole version but needs to be performed per language bases.
We don't want this to be run on all langs, thanks.
Hi Zanata team.
Just a quick question.
My understanding is that the first stage of this RFE is to allow TM Merge to be run for an entire file, instead of running by page-by-page in Zanata editor.
Would the next stage which is to cover all files under a single project version in a single language be planned already?
We have talked about it in the meeting but AFAIK there is no plan yet to cover all files under a project version for a single language. If you need that functionality, please file a separate issue and link it to this one. This issue is just for a single document.
