new alpha editor shows different language then classic editor

Description

i am translating a file:

in classis editor:
on the left (source side) of the current row/translation i can also in english: 'the english translation'
this is fine

in new alpha editor:
it shows ENGLISH EN-US only
this is in our case the untranslated key

or is it that alpha editor does not show a secondary language at all ?
if so, then that would be a very needed feature for the alpha editor.

i think it would be a very nice feature to allow the translator to set a secondary language.

i ve seen it in pootle where you can configure the ui to show below the source string also the translated string in any of the available languages.

therefore a spanish-to-chinese translator would see the english source string, below the already existing spanish translation and would fill in on right side the chinese translation.

hope that is clear
