Positional printf syntax issue

Description

...there's a strange issue with positional printf validation when translating. Entering the text it says is missing does not work either.

This is causing major headaches at the moment so would appreciate if this could be looked at with urgency.

Unfortunately this does not appear to be fully fixed. Another related issue has been reported by one of our translators. See the attached image.
